Still Waiting

I just wanted to post a brief note for our two readers to let you know that we are still waiting on word that our foster licensing has been completed.  It’s in the state’s hands, and our county DSS has not gotten notification yet.

We’ll be sure to update this blog when we find out.  Don’t worry! :)

    Hi Steve & Christy -

    I’ve thought of you guys so many times these past weeks. The anticipation is probably high right now - or are you too busy with home school and the possible new job to even think about it all?

    I was thinking this morning about people we would love to share our pictures with (since we are not sharing them on our blog). If you would like, I can e-mail them to your link … we should have pictures of our new one tonight.

    Oh! I saw your picture and article in the Old Schoolhouse. What a treat!

    Thanks for your thoughts. Honestly, speaking for myself, life has been so crazy that I haven’t had much time to think about the wait on licensing!

    Definitely send on the pictures. We would love to see them!

    Glad you enjoy the theological blog, too. It’s sometimes rather interesting to see the discussions that take place there!

    Thanks Laura, for your thoughts. We have been busy with other things, so we haven’t thought about it as much….and also not knowing if we are staying in this state leaves us in a bit of a limbo stage.
    But…I did have a conversation with someone at DSS and she thinks our licensing should happen very soon.
    I think the plan is to offer respite to others (foster and birth parents) until we know where we are going to be.
