In less than two weeks, we are going to get to have Hope Giver at our home again!! It will just be for the day, and possibly not even a full day at that. But it’s another chance to spend time with her and bond with her.
Hope Giver’s foster mom is letting us keep her on November 19 while she attends a hearing related to Hope Giver’s future. Please pray for that situation. The hearing could very well determine whether or not there will be a chance for Hope Giver to receive a permanent home. And by extension, whether or not we will have a shot of adopting her. (Please, please, please, dear God…)
Obviously, we’re very, very interested in the outcome of that hearing, and we’re glad that we’ll be keeping Hope Giver that day, because when Foster Mom comes to pick her up, we’ll hopefully be able to find out right away what happened.
In other news, for those of you following my saga of trying to get an interview for a job I would really like, here’s the latest on that:
November 27 at 11 AM is my interview! They finally called to schedule it. They have also changed the start date of the job. Originally, it was supposed to start mid-January. They have pushed that back to mid-March.
This is good for us, because it would mean two less months of trying to manage two homes and spending a couple of nights a week apart. It also may possibly play favorably into the situation with Hope Giver, although that remains to be seen.
Prayers on both counts are greatly appreciated!

Praying for the judge to see what God’s plan for Hope Giver’s future is!
