Christy just called me to let me know that Hope Giver’s birth parents have both signed away their rights!!!!!!!!!!!
Details are sketchy at this point, so we may have to update with corrections later, but it appears that rather than a 30-day possible appeal, there is only a 7-day window for them to change their mind. Apparently this has to do with the fact that they signed away their rights instead of a TPR being decided by a judge and forced on them.
Praise God for this first step in the possibility of us adopting Hope Giver. We are rejoicing at this awesome news!!!!
