Not Too Much Longer to Wait

Last night, we found out that a court date has been set. It will take place in just a couple of weeks, so it looks like we will know before too much longer if we will get to adopt Hope Giver or not.

I can’t tell you how eager we are to know for sure. There is a tremendous amount of excitement, nervousness, eagerness…sometimes a roller coaster of emotions. But it’s great knowing that we might finally know for sure within a few weeks.

Thank you to all of you who have been praying, encouraging us and walking with us. We continue to hope and trust that our Father is doing something here that only He is able to do.

Stay tuned for updates as we have them, and can reveal them. And let me just echo what Christy said in the last post that we are trying to be extremely, extremely careful with what all we reveal publicly here on this blog. We have a tremendous respect for the system through which this is all being facilitated, and we also recognize the privacy of Hope Giver and all those involved in her life. But when we are able to, we will definitely share what we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding in that!
