In the ever-confusing world of the judicial system, this case has unbelievably been delayed for yet another month!
I wish that we had some kind of news to report, but unfortunately, there will likely be no more news on this case until the middle of February.
There will be more respite opportunities, but no sense of future until this case finally gets resolved someday. Please pray for all involved. This case has dragged on way longer than it should have, but there’s nothing we can do about it. (The issue today seems to be simply that the judge ran out of time to hear all the cases on the docket. So, for that reason, while the case was not supposed to be continued again, it has been.)
Frankly, we’re very disappointed. But we will continue to love Hope Giver every chance we get. For however long we get to.

I’m so sorry to hear this, Steve!
I am praying…and I trust that God has a perfect reason for all of this. Do not grow wearing in the waiting.

Man, this hurts my heart. I am so sorry. I will continue to pray. Keep your chin up, brother. OK? It will all work out soon.

Oh, how very disheartening. And you have to wonder how this waiting can really be in the best interest of the precious child. The “system” is so messed up.
I’ll stand with you in continued prayer. Though it’s so hard to understand right now, I can testify to the fact that God’s timing is always perfect.

Sometimes I become very frustrated with the delays… the delays make no sense whatsoever. As odd as we think our judicial system is, it is the best around. Not much consolation for you, I know.
We continue in prayer for all of you.
