Funny, I always thought that it would be my son who would try someday to fill my shoes. But here, in the closest we’ll probably get for a while to actually putting a picture of Hope Giver on this blog, you can see my size 13’s with some very small feet in them.
I tend to take my shoes off while in the house, and frequently, Hope Giver likes to stand in them. I have no idea why she does this, but we took this picture, and I had to share it with you!

Get used to it, bro! Little girls LOVE to play dress-up! Even my oldest still loves to put on princess dresses. We have a Rubbermaid container slam-full (technical term) of dress-up clothes.
I will never forget when Lily pulled a sportscoat off the hangar and wrapped a tie around her neck and said, “Look, I’m daddy!” Those memories always stay with you. My advice, take lots of pictures!!!

That is precious! Thanks for sharing. I’ll be waiting for “real” pictures of her~ hopefully someday soon (when all is finalized).
Our Ian will be 2 next month and he’s addicted to shoes! He wears whoever’s happen to be within his reach. His favorites are Gracie’s pink crocs~ hilarious! We have to hide them when we’re going away, or he tries to wear them out in public! LOL
Kids! Aren’t they precious?!

I’m sooooo happy for you guys. And I cannot wait to see more full-fledged pictures of this beautiful gift.
Thanks for sharing it all with us - both ways. It is truly a joy to rejoice with you!
Blessings!
