About Love Each Child

Love Each Child is a blog by Steve and Christy Sensenig as we document our journey in the foster/adoptive care system through our state’s DSS.

We received our first adoption placement (court ruled to place with us for permanency on February 18, 2008).  She is a beautiful 19-month-old (at time of placement) girl we call “Hope Giver” here on this blog.

We also have a teenage son who is enjoying this journey with us, and who has turned out to be an awesome “big brother”.

Our desire is to eventually adopt more infants or very young toddlers, but we are also opening ourselves to the possibility of fostering other children who need a loving home during a difficult time in their lives.

It is our heartfelt desire to show the love of Jesus to any children that God might bring through our home, no matter the child, the need, or the length of time.
